January 2008 - Spring Dreams
The scheme is inspired by the soft, floaty romantic styles of S/S '08 fashion. Each window is filled with soft fluffy clouds and a collection of different props from ship masts with gentle rippling sails to fair ground horses, poke though the clouds.
Beautiful female and male mannequins are positioned in each window with soft curl hair and dramatic tattoos, adding to the almost surreal scene. Ivy grows up ropes and around the mannequins within the windows. Fans and theatrical lighting are used to create interest; gently blown fabrics add movement to the dream-like scheme.
May 2008 - Colour Works
The scheme Colour Works is inspired by the S/S 2008 fashion of paint splattered fabrics. Designers took inspiration from all artistic media from painting to graphic illustrations to create their pieces.
Within each window stands some sort of machinery performing a movement - either brush stokes, paint splatters or scribbles. A pallet of vivid colours is used to cover the floors and splatter the back walls to reflect S/S 08 fashions. Brightly coloured mannequins are positioned within the window to stand out against the canvas coloured back wall.
